Sound familiar?

  • You have a business idea but no idea which forms to file — or in what order.
  • You Googled “LLC vs S-Corp” and came out more confused than you went in.
  • You’re already operating under your personal name and know you’re exposed.
  • You started an online filing service, got stuck halfway, and abandoned it.

This is the most common starting point for our clients. You’re not behind — you’re exactly where most successful owners started.

Everything your formation needs — nothing you have to figure out alone.

  • Entity selection guidance — LLC, S-Corp election, partnership, or sole proprietorship, based on your taxes, liability, and growth plans.
  • State filing — Certificate of Formation prepared and filed, with registered agent service.
  • Federal EIN — your business tax ID, obtained correctly the first time.
  • DBA registration — if you’ll operate under a trade name.
  • Operating agreement — the internal document banks and partners will ask for.
  • Business licensing check — what your city, county, and industry actually require.
  • Business banking guidance — what to bring so the account opens without a second trip.
  • Compliance calendar — annual filings and franchise tax deadlines, tracked so you never miss one.

How it works

1

Choose the right structure

In your free consultation we look at what you’ll sell, what you expect to earn, and who’s involved — then recommend a structure and explain why in plain language.

2

We file everything

You review and sign. We prepare and submit the state filing, EIN application, DBA, and licenses — and keep you posted at every step.

3

Start operating — with a map

You get your complete formation packet plus a first-90-days checklist: banking, bookkeeping, estimated taxes, and insurance. If you want us to handle those too, we’re already warmed up.

Frequently asked questions

Should I form an LLC or an S-Corp?
Usually the real question is “LLC taxed how?” — an S-Corp is a tax election, not a different company type. Below a certain profit level the S-Corp election costs more than it saves; above it, it can save thousands a year in self-employment tax. We model both numbers for your situation in the consultation.
How long does formation take?
In Texas, typically one to three weeks end to end, depending on state processing times. The EIN usually follows within days of state approval. We’ll give you a realistic timeline up front.
I already formed my LLC myself. Can you fix what I missed?
Yes — this is common. We review what you have, then fill the gaps: missing EIN, no operating agreement, unfiled franchise reports, wrong tax classification. Cleanup is usually faster than starting over.
Do you only form Texas businesses?
We’re Texas-rooted, but we form entities in all 50 states and can advise on where it actually makes sense to register (hint: for most owners, it’s your home state — not Delaware).

Formation is step one. Most founders pair it with: Bookkeeping & Accounting →  •  Tax Strategy & Preparation →  •  Business Insurance & Risk →
